Welcome to the 2021/2022 season

We are looking forward to seeing everyone at Grange Road!

President’s 2021/2022 Welcome
Hello Everyone,
I would like to welcome you all back to the new season. Hopefully we will get to see a lot more hockey played this year and I wish every team success at their respective levels.

This year will be a challenging year for the Club as we try to get back up and running under the current Covid protocols and I would ask everyone to be patient and understanding as things settle into the new normal.
I hope everyone will support the Club in whatever way they can and most of all enjoy your hockey!

Kara Browning
TRRHC President 2021/2022

Three Rock Rover’s Men’s 1s start their EYHL campaign (words by Fraser Morris)

The Three Rock Rovers Men’s first team started their program of EYHL matches against UCD in Belfield, with a delgightful 5-2 win, on Saturday 11th September. The past six weeks have seen an intense period of pre-season practice matches and training sessions. There have been many personnel changes this year and matches against Brooklands (UK), Banbridge, Pembroke, Glenanne, Avoca & Monkstown have given under-18 Rovers players and players new to the club a chance to bed in. Competition for places is healthily keen. The coaching staff are extremely grateful to the players who trained so hard and lined up for these matches. They were impressed with many of the performances especially by the youth players.

Not only the league but the ‘Road To Antwerp’ is under way too. Three Rock Rovers travel to Antwerp on Friday, 1 October with a first round match on Saturday morning (9.30) against Minsk. The team from Minsk contains nine Belarus international players which won the EuroHockey championship III earlier this year. The following day would see TRR play the winners or losers of the match between Hampstead & Westminster and Mannheimer HC.

It is a very exciting time for the club, proudly flying the Three Rock Rovers flag in the Irish and European leagues.
