As things stand no matches, training or any activity of any sort can occur up at Grange Road without the visible presence of at least one COVID OFFICER/SUPERVISOR.

We all want to be able to do what we all love and that is play hockey but that won’t be possible without people acting as a Covid Officer for each session. The Juniors have had plenty of parents stepping up to volunteer as Supervisors because of the number parents will most likely only have to do one maybe 2 sessions throughout the season.

We need a similar uptake on the Senior side to make sure that the workload is burdened by the many rather than just the few. Contact Peter Hinds, the Covid Officer at covid.officer@threerockrovershc.com, volunteer in a WhatsApp team group or message the respective men’s or ladies club captains to get your name down on a day/session.

You just need to do a simple online course to Supervise a session to make sure Covid-19 rules are being adhered to.

Peter and his team of Supervisors/Coordinators cannot be and should not e expected to be there all the time.

If there is no Supervisor there is is no session, period.
