5. Last week’s results round-up: Juliette Duffy’s double fired the W1 to a first win of the season – one an absolute peach to the top corner – as they beat Kilkenny 2-0! The W3 side also got their first win as they won 2-1 against Pembroke thanks to efforts from Siobhan Crombie and Margo Schaaf. The W3 side lost to a strong Pembroke side.

On the men’s side, the M1 drew 1-1 in Banbridge with the hosts earning the shoot-out bonus point this time, leaving us on six points from nine available so far. Mark English scored a second successive hat trick for the M2 in a comfortable away win over Clontarf. The M3 got off the mark with a 0-0 draw against Monkstown while a polished Avoca were 3-1 winners over the M4 team.

Sunday blitz-day with YMCA Hockey Club as the senior infants, 1st, 2nd and 5th class groups played a great series of games at Wesley while the 3rd and 4th class girls were at HQ for their set!
