Lots of representative honours across the club this week with Irish indoor call-ups, All-Ireland schoolboy and intervarsity champions, Leinster representation and some great league results across the bank holiday weekend. Here’s the round-up

2. Last week’s results round-up: A big away win for the W1 in midweek as they won 4-0 at Clontarf with Juliette Duffy getting another couple of goals with Maria Bools and Hannah Duffy also on the mark!
Loads of drama at HQ as Millie Morton Bailey scored with the very last touch of the game to earn a 2-2 draw for the W2 against Avoca. Meabh Holden had opened the scoring from a stroke in the first half before Avoca fought back to take the lead deep into the second half!
Last second magic from the M5s in the one game today as Graham Byrne fired in an equaliser with the last touch of Saturday morning for a 1-1 draw vs Suttonians!
3. Ireland’s call – Congratulations to Harry MacMahon, James Walker, Ryan Williams and Stephen O’Keeffe who have all been included in the Irish men’s indoor team who will travel to South Africa for the Nkosi Cup from December 10th to 15th.
4. All-Ireland Schoolboy champions – Back to back! Unbelievable performance from Wesley to retain the All-Ireland Schoolboys Championship last week! Massive congratulations to club members Mateo Synnott, Louis Rothwell, Simon Montgomery, Jonah Nathan, Harry Grainger and Josh Kelly who were part of this success!
5. Intervarsities success – well done to Sam Rothwell, Ryan Williams and Rex Dunlop who helped TU Dublin win back-to-back Mauritius Cup titles!
6. Rovers Representing – a strong club cohort played in the men’s Master Interpros over the bank holiday weekend with 18 separate teams taking part and over 200 players overall.
In the Over-40s, Luke McSharry helped Munster (pictured) win gold ahead of Leinster who featured Michael Bonandrini, Don Gray, Dan Needham and Andy Murray. Roly Budd played with the Leinster Over-50s, Rob Carter with the Over-55s while Roger West (captain), Cedric Christie, Peter Hill and Davd Owen were with the Over-65s from Leinster.
7. Club Skills Survey: We’re looking to build a simple picture of the skills and expertise within our club community to help support future club projects and initiatives, including facilities development, sustainability projects, club upgrades, education programmes and more.
The survey is entirely voluntary, takes approximately three minutes to complete, and there is absolutely no obligation to get involved in any future projects. The information will simply help us understand the resources and expertise that already exist within the club.
We’d really appreciate all members taking a few minutes to complete the survey: https://forms.cloud.microsoft/r/7WYrMscmCC
