Rover’s Round Up November 11th, 2021

On Sunday 7th November we played our first round match in the Jaqui potter cup against Our Lady’s Terenure. We were all excited and ready to play.  They match went well and we ended up winning 9-0 with many of the team scoring goals. Overall it was an amazing start to our cup campaign and we hope to progress further in the competition over the coming weeks. Thanks to Our lady’s for being sporting opponents and we wish them the best of luck in the rest of their season.

Results November 5th – 7th

Ladies Vets lost 2-1 v Clontarf

M1 lost 3-2 v Lisnagarvey
M2 lost 4-1 v Railway
M3 drew 0-0 with Pembroke
M5 lost 0-9 v Trinity

L1 won 4-1 v Wexford
L2 lost 1-4 v Our Lady’s
L3 lost 1-3 v Corinthians

It was a tough weekend all round, but congratulations the Ladies 1s on a fabulous win, with 4 different scorers on the cards as they picked up their 3rd win out of 4 games in their Leinster Challenge A campaign so far!

The Ladies all received byes in their respective Cups for the coming weekend so have a rest weekend and there is only a quartet of fixtures starting with the Ladies Vets on Wednesday evening followed by a trio men’s fixtures on Saturday afternoon.

Christmas Trees at Grange Road

The annual Christmas Tree sale at Grange Road will be starting up soon! The start date is to be confirmed, but is expected to be within the next two weeks. The club gets a contribution for trees sold, so we would ask members to please support the club by buying your tree in TRR. If you have any questions or queries contact Bernie at

Subs 2021/2022

As we now well into the new season and you have yet to pay anything towards your seasonal subs, please do so immediately. The money raised from subs helps to provide all the services that our players use on a weekly basis, coaches, pitches, umpire fees, etc. so it is vital that Subs are paid up.
