Sidney Dagg hockey memorabilia

Dennis Livingstone, on behalf of Mr Eric Williams (Banbridge HC) last weekend presented Kara Browning and John Findlater with three original bound volumes of hockey memorabilia which belonged to Sidney Dagg. During his lifetime, Sidney was holder of almost every office in Irish Hockey, Leinster and TRR. The wrought iron sign in the background was part of a memorial to him, which was originally located at the IHU grounds at Londonbridge Road

Angus Dunlop’s Fundraiser:  IYF Mizen to Malin Head Charity Cycle

If you can please support Angus Dunlop, our U16 boys coach, as he swaps his hockey stick for a bike to raid much needed funds for the Irish youth foundation and their effort to support children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds post pandemic,

Read Angus’s words below and you can pay what you can here:  IYF Mizen to Malin Head Charity Cycle

This September I’ll be taking on the challenge and cycling from Mizen to Malin Head in aid of the Irish Youth Foundation. The charity is dedicated solely to meeting the needs of children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. Their recent Generation Pandemic Report has shown just how devastating the pandemic has been for those children and young people. We chose this route because lighthouses are guiding lights and beacons of hope. Supporting this cycle will help them to provide a brighter future for children across every point of Ireland. Futures are on the line. But, with your help, we can catch this.
