Saturday
The Under 12 and Under 13 boys welcomed Portadown HC on a dry, crisp Saturday morning to take part in two 11-a-side matches on the front pitch. It was there chance to shine as they were watched by close on 30 spectators.
After initial jitters in the first game (the first time the Under 12’s had played on a full pitch they started to play some good hockey, while the Under 13’s, this time with around 75% of the squad playing 11-a-side for the first time and wonderfully supported by Under 12’s, ran them close with some excellent dribbling, control and first time touches.

Sunday
1st/2nd Class Girls Blitz (H) – a great morning of hockey as the youngest members of the club continued their development in 4v4 1/8 pitch games. Progress has been seen in their understanding of the skills of the game as well as enjoyment. Well done girls.
3rd/4th Class Girls Blitz (H) – a whooping 100 kids taking part and again with clear progression being seen as well as enjoyment and excitement in the matches (6v6 ¼ pitch) another successful Blitz held at TRRHC.
5th Class Girls Blitz (A) @ Corintihains – the girls have been working hard on developing their skills within game stations and were clearly seen to make improvements in the game that they played.
