Junior News

Despite the pitch damage, all Junior hockey training and matches will go ahead as planned this weekend. We are looking forward to a busy weekend of junior hockey.

Parahockey

With only 4 places left for the Three Rock Rockets ParaHockey team, we are looking for volunteers to help out.

Training will take place on Tuesday’s 6.30-7.30 (this is just before our Men’s first team train, so our Three Rock Rockets can get to know our men’s team and see the skills that they have!), starting Tuesday 8th November and we will run for 10 weeks (dates to follow)

Disability courses will be taking place for anyone who can volunteer to help out.

Dates for the Diary

On November 27th we are hosting our first supporters lunch of the season. We have 30 places for people looking to come to our first supporters lunch of the season. Lunch will be served at 1.30 in the clubhouse and will be followed by the Mens 1st XI game v Pembroke. Contact Sara Cali if you wish to attend at sara.c.cali@gmail.com . Details of price and menu will be out soon.

Another date for the diary is the Christmas Social Hockey event on St. Stephens Day. More details for this will also be out in the coming weeks.

Pitch damage update

Due to recent damage to the front pitch, all senior fixtures are reversed for the weekend with the exception of the IJC cup game which will be on the back pitch at 1pm. Juniors will be able to train on Saturday and Sunday as usual. A leak in the water system resulted in the guns not working properly, which subsequently damaged a small section of the shock pad underneath. We are hoping to have a temporary fix in place for next weekend before full repairs can take place.
