Internationals
Congratulations to Jamie Carr, Luke Madeley and Daragh Walsh on their inclusion in this weeks Irish senior mens panel squad. The lads are in Holland for the week training and playing uncapped matches in the build up to World League 2 in March.

Club dinner
Due to an unfortunate fire, the venue for the club dinner has been changed! The event will still be on the 1st of April, and the new venue will be confirmed next week. Tickets are €50 and will be available through a link on MyClubFinance shortly.
Next week we will commence voting for the mens and ladies players of the year so keep your eyes peeled and make your vote count!
For now, please save the date as we look to end the season on a high.

Volunteers
As we enter the business end of the season, we are blessed in Three Rock to be the major host of finals in Leinster. This is a great source of advertisement for all our sponsors including Tilman Brewin Dolphin and Sherry Fitzgerald, and also allows us to endure our facilities are maximised effectively. Some of the key dates coming up in the next few weeks are the Leinster finals on St.Patricks Day, the Leinster Cup Finals on the 8th and 9th of April, and Irish events on the weekend of the 22nd of April and the 29th of April. Please keep these dates in mind and let us know at club.manager@threerockrovershc.com if you are available to help in any way. These events only run smoothly with the continued and valued support of volunteers. We will be looking for help with carparking, bar duty and taking gate income.

Scoreboard
Some may have already been blinded and dazzled by the lights of our brand spanking new scoreboard! For those that have not seen it though, be sure to take a peek on Saturday as we show off our new asset! Sponsored by Sherry Fitzgerald the board is the latest asset we have been lucky enough to upgrade in the last year. Many thanks to everyone who helped get it across the line, specifically Andrew Walker, Derek Squire and Bernie Keogh

Capital funding
Members should be advised that the club has applied for capital funding to help us replace the back pitch which is in urgent need of an upgrade. The grant application was submitted this week and news is expected by August or September of this year

Good news
Better late than never, but congratulations to our two mens 1st XI players Peter Blakeney and Mitch Darling on their respective engagements to Aisling and Erica!

Mayfest
Mayfest returns for 2017 but in June! June 2nd to 4th will see the return of the social event. For sixty euro per head, you may enter a team for the weekend for social, fun, mixed hockey. Please email mayest.trrhc@gmail.com to sign up!

Olympic Council
Congratulations to club member and previous club captain Rob Johnson on his selection to the Olympic Council of Ireland. Rob recently stepped back from his interim role as CEO of Hockey Ireland and has joined a fresh faced council planning ahead for the next Olympic cycle
