How to help not just the Club, but your business!

125th booklet- please see the message below from the social committee

“Hi There,

This year Three Rock Rovers Hockey Club celebrates its 125th year anniversary! Within the last 25 years in particular, TRR has overhauled its structure by becoming a club that represents both men and women, with a thriving junior section, a healthy veterans section, and as of last season, a growing parahockey membership, thus ensuring that TRRHC really is a club for all. This year especially, we wish to recognise how great our club is at our annual dinner by making it bigger and better than ever! The Gala Dinner will take place on the 14th of April 2018 in the Royal Marine Hotel, Dun Laoghaire.

As part of this momentous year, we will be using this particular occasion to demonstrate where we are going in the future as well as celebrating the present and past.

So why contact you?

TRRHC is at a defining time in terms of the game changing opportunity that the club is setting itself up for on and off the pitch. Hockey in Ireland has a significant and growing footprint – with industry experts ONSIDE estimating 1 in 10 adults having some interest in the sport – and c.100k+ adults are interested in becoming more involved in hockey today. We are creating a bespoke centenary booklet which will be a celebration of the past, present and future of Three Rock Rovers Hockey Club. We would like to offer a special opportunity for you to avail of a limited number of advertising spaces in this truly unique booklet. As current national men’s team champions and one of the largest clubs in Leinster and Ireland, here lies a superb opportunity to reach a wider audience and increase business prospects.

We have two different ways that we are offering the advertising to you:

Half Page Advertisement:
€150 HP

Full Page Advertisement:
€250 FP

If you would be interested in having an advertisement in our booklet, please contact:

Help us to make the next 25 years even better!

Looking forward to hearing from you,

The TRRHC Social Committee"

Thanks!

Final stretch before what will be a huge weekend for the Club!!

Just over A MONTH until Rovers Rock out in the EHL in Rotterdam and what a trip this promises to be!!! Not only do our men play Paris St. Germain in the knock out 16 on Saturday at 11.30 am but our 14s will also play in the Junior EHL that weekend.

Not only that, through Brona Kernan’s trojan work, the boys and girls u16 are also going to Holland for the same weekend also!!! So, essentially all of TRR is moving to Rotterdam for Easter weekend. The big question now is will you be there with us?!
Rotterdam hockey club has updated its info for travellers which can be found on:
https://hcrotterdam.club/ehl2018/
Some people have already booked accommodation with many of the ladies 1sts/2nds staying in the Ibis hotel: https://www.accorhotels.com/gb/hotel-8188-ibis-rotterdam-city-centre/index.shtml

As it is Easter weekend, obviously the earlier you book the flights the better. Are Lingus, KLM and Ryanair all fly to Schipol airport in Amsterdam. From there it is a short train ride to Rotterdam city centre.
With so many of our players and members representing the club on the European stage it would be a shame not to make a big trip out of this and celebrate the success of our club in its 125th year as a big group in the best country in the world to play hockey!!

Congratulations in order and how to sort your hockey fix for the coming weekend!!

HOD Tournament
Congratulations to Orna Bools who has been selected for the Leinster Girls Squad for the HOD tournament this Easter. Congratulations to Brooklyn Mapfumo and Hugo Heisterkamp who have both been selected in the Leinster Boys squad for the HOD tournament this Easter. Well done to former Rover Ash Harrison who is one of the coaches for the boys squad too.
Well Done All!!

The Men’s Indoor had a very successful first day in Georgia at the European Indoors!

After arriving in Georgia on Wednesday and getting in a training session or so ahead of the first day of competition today the team couldn’t have asked for a better start to their campaign. Two games and two wins and topping the standings after day one in Tbilisi.

They opened their campaign with a tight 3-2 win over Armenian Club Hrazdan. Followed by a 10-0 rout of hosts Tbilisi Club. They are top of the standings heading into day two by virtue of their excellent goal difference.
