A great night in the club for the Cocktail Party last Saturday – a massive thank you to the social committee for putting it together!
The on-field club action is mostly in midweek with the W1 and W2 both playing important league matches on Wednesday evening while the M5 are the only side in action over the bank holiday with a refix against Suttonians!

On the weekend, the annual Intervarsities takes place in Kilkenny. Ryan Williams, Rex Dunlop and Sam Rothwell are in the TU Dublin men’s squad while Grace Beatty and Millie Morton Bailey are in the TUD women’s panel.
3. Club Skills Survey: We’re looking to build a simple picture of the skills and expertise within our club community to help support future club projects and initiatives, including facilities development, sustainability projects, club upgrades, education programmes and more.
The survey is entirely voluntary, takes approximately three minutes to complete, and there is absolutely no obligation to get involved in any future projects. The information will simply help us understand the resources and expertise that already exist within the club.
We’d really appreciate all members taking a few minutes to complete the survey: https://forms.cloud.microsoft/r/7WYrMscmCC
4. Rockets recruiting – The Rockets – our Hockey ID team – are welcoming new members! The group is open for children and adults with intellectual disabilities aged 12 and over. Training is Tuesday evenings from 6.30pm to 7.30pm on the front pitch. Email/call Louise on 087 627 1612 or rockets@threerockrovershc.com to make arrangements.
4. Last week’s results round-up: Moment of the day was the late Scott Hoey winner for the M2 who won a huge tussle with Banbridge in the Irish Junior Cup first round!
Great wins too for the W3 and M5 sides who both won 4-0 in their league games to move up their tables.
The M1 were beaten 2-1 against YMCA in the EYHL and so sit in third place in the league after five rounds with Ben Johnson getting the goal late in the game.
For the W1, Juliette Duffy scored her fifth and sixth goals of the season but they came unstuck 5-2 against Corinthian.
