Mens Club Captain
We are delighted to announce that Andrew Walker (aka Chuck) has taken on the role of mens Club Captain for the 2014/2015 season. Andrew has a wealth of experience in the club having just stepped back after years in the role of junior boys co-ordinator. He has been thrown straight into the action over the last few weeks with plenty of meetings and work behind the scenes for the new season. To contact him please use the mens.clubcaptain@threerockrovershc.com email address. We hope he enjoys his season!

Master World Cup
Huge congrats to Maura O’Neill who picked up a Bronze medal at the Master World Cup in Rotterdam a few weeks ago! The womens over 50s, who were coached by Rover Ben Epstein, beat the USA, Wales New Zealand and the Netherlands on their way to the Bronze medal games which they won convincingly 6-1. This was a great achievement in such a large tournament….well done to all!

Internationals
Well done to Daragh Walsh, who at 16 has been named in the u21 Irish squad to play the Welsh senior team tonight (June 26th) at 7pm in UCD. This is a great achievement by Daragh who burst onto the senior scene this year, becoming a regular in the mens 1sts panel. He will be joined this evening by his u16 coach in Rovers, Ross Canning.

Best of luck also to Mitch Darling and Stephen West as they line out for the Senior team this weekend, also against Wales. An experienced squad has been named to take on the Welsh on Saturday and Sunday in UCD at 3pm. Next week the team play England before a squad for the Investec Cup in London is announced. Good luck guys!

Golf Outing
The Rovers golf outing is now just a week away and we are all praying for the return of that sun!! David Haughton has done a superb job organising the event this year which takes place in Woodbrook Golf Club. The golf will be followed by a dinner in the club that evening. Please contact your partners and be sure of your tee time!
