This week the club will lose a valued and treasured player as Mairead Lyons is leaving for the UK.

Over the years Mairead has been a magnificent club member. She successfully earned capital funding during her year as club captain and returned to a committee level in the role of council member last year. She captained and managed a number of teams and has been a hard working, committed player at 1sts and 2nds level all the way up to last season. Her love for the club is infectious and her enthusiastic sideline support was rarely matched.

The committee would like to thank her for all her work and wish her the very best of luck with her move.
